Exploring the impact of community, health coaching and behaviour change on the wellbeing of adults with cancer
This project will look at the role of community, health coaching and behaviour change strategies in supporting adults with cancer.
Evidence suggests that being part of a like minded community supports behaviour change and long term lifestyle changes. Similarly there is a growing evidence base that shows that various lifestyle strategies can support wellbeing in adults with a diagnosis of cancer. For example increased activity, stress reduction strategies and implementing a whole food diet.
This project will look at how group health coaching based on the best evidence from behavioural science can support sustained positive lifestyle changes and mental health.
