The Phenomenology of Dementia: Navigation of Time and Space
Description
This project would conduct, research and analyse qualitative interviews and ethnographic studies, lifewriting and memoirs to better understand the subjective experience of dementia. It would use insights drawn from phenomenology and phenomenological psychiatry to better understand the relationship to body, world, language, and in particular time and space in the condition of dementia and consider the implications for clinical and social care.
