Description

A variety of PhDs are available: mechanism of action (clinical, EEG, MRI, MRS), personalisation and efficacy of different types of neuromodulation (theta burst transcranial magnetic stimulation, cranial electrostimulation, ultrasound); digital interventions to promote self-management and recovery from bipolar disorder, health anxiety or loss of motivation in depression (requiring understanding of human computer interaction); safety of co-prescribed medication in mental and physical disorder such as opiates and antidepressants (requiring statistical and epidemiology expertise). These all building on existing work at Nottingham with three different research groups.
