We’re delighted to share the inspiring work of our Midlands MHN DTP fellow, Denisse Levermore, whose PhD research comes to life in a creative and thought-provoking installation:
Connections Build Connections, with poet laureate Andrea Mbarushimana.
🧠 When: 11:30am–4:30pm
📍 Where: Theatre Bar, Warwick Arts Centre
🎨 Event: The People’s Takeover
This interactive installation invites visitors to reflect on the relationships that sustain our mental health. At its heart stands a glowing brain sculpture, symbolising how human connection physically and emotionally shapes who we are.
Participants are encouraged to add their own “special person” to the neural network and to share reflections or poetry, guided by Andrea’s creative facilitation.
Through this collaboration, Denisse and Andrea weave together art, science, and community – reminding us that connection itself is healing.
