Our dedicated and passionate PhD student, Verity Jones, has co-authored a pivotal study titled “A Rapid Realist Review of Literature Examining Co‐production in Mental Health Services for Youth”, published in JCPP Advances.

This open-access review synthesises 57 papers to develop a programme theory on effective co-production in youth mental health services. It identifies that a supportive organisational culture, transparency, and shared power are crucial for meaningful youth engagement, particularly among those from minoritised communities. The findings offer valuable insights for clinicians, policymakers, and researchers seeking to enhance youth mental health services through co-production.

Verity’s ongoing work is instrumental in shaping more inclusive and effective mental health services for young people.
